"Alternative Dispute Resolution in its most general sense refers to dispute resolution procedures other than adjudication by a court. For purposes of this legislation, the Alaska Legislature limited ADR to three processes: arbitration, early neutral evaluation and mediation". These procedures are defined by Alaska Judicial Council Judge takes on role of mediator. Judge will often listen to each side and give a synopsis of their cases. Client, along w/ attorney, decide what they want. |
